The scene is set against a backdrop of bloody civil war, two lovers from opposing sides risk everything . . .

and pay a terrible price.

Tonight is the night that we pull on our best dresses (the girls) and dust down our trousers (the boys) to head to St. George’s Hall to witness the marvellous stage prodtuction of Romeo and Juliet. The meeting place has been set, the gang with assemble around 6.30pm for pre theatre drinks before heading off into the some what dusty evening as the sun begins to lower to take their seats in the Concert Hall ready for the curtains to rise at 7.30pm.

Hours of Shakespeares work will unfold before our very eyes, telling a story for everyone about sex, death and falling in love.

The production with a superb ensemble cast, stunning venue and a haunting original score by David Ben Shannon, Lodestar’s latest production is vivid, bold and powerful.
